Do I have to be a mom to join BizEMoms?
No, membership is non-exclusive and open to all business owners. BizEMoms was originally formed by a small group of women who met through an online moms website. Since then, our group has grown to include men and women, who are not just parents, but motivated business people. We also do not have any restrictions on the type of businesses that we allow in the group, however we do have a limit of four businesses per product type, and only one official representative per business. Meaning for direct selling organizations, we only allow one consultant per company. Membership does change periodically, so for the most up to date information regarding membership openings, please contact Tamara at membership.
What kind of businesses are allowed to join BizEMoms?
Any type of business! Large or small, home-based or not, established or new, membership is open to all types of businesses, as long as you are serious about learning ways to help your own business and willing to support others in their growth.
Do I have to be a member to attend one of your meetings?
We will offer one, pre-arranged guest visitation to a meeting. We would love to meet you and for you to meet us and really see what we are about. If you decide to join, great! However, meetings are a benefit of membership, so we do only allow one free meeting as a guest.
Do I have to be a member to participate in any of your events?
No, for most of our events, we will have open tables available for non-members. Please contact us at events for additional information.
When are your events if I would like to attend with my family or friends?
BizEMoms organizes three free events a year, and you can visit our calendar to see when our events are, as well as other events happening in the valley.
What happens during the BizEMoms meetings?
Each BizEMoms meeting follows an agenda and schedule. Our meetings are no more than two hours long and begin with networking time, where we encourage members and guests to meet one another. One of the great benefits of BizEMoms membership is the camaraderie. Each meeting also features a host and guest speaker. Hosts are members who are given the opportunity to speak about their businesses in front of the group, and are featured on our website homepage. Guest speakers offer training or share knowledge that would be of benefit to our membership.
Could I become a guest speaker at one of your meetings?
Each of our meetings features a guest speaker who has expertise in something that would be of interest to our members. If you are interested in becoming a guest speaker, please contact us for additional information. You are also more than welcome to come to a meeting as a guest before committing to becoming a guest speaker.
Is there a cost to join BizEMoms?
Yes, BizEMoms does charge a membership fee, which allows us to be able to provide services and opportunities to our members. Please contact us for additional information and current pricing.
