Meet the Officers

BizEMoms has been an exciting adventure and opportunity for me! I had recently graduated college when my son was born and we made the decision that I would stay home with him. I always knew I wanted to be a mom, and what a wonderful experience it has been! I love watching him make new discoveries and trying to see the world from his eyes. Being a mom has made me want to be more and do more. Since I was home with Taylor, I decided to try something new, that would help me connect with others, while still keeping in mind what was really important to me.

I was so excited to begin the journey that is BizEMoms, and I never would have been able to do it without my best friend and husband, Brooks. We enjoy being silly and making each day an adventure. We have been blessed to be able to be parents again, and now have a baby girl named Jasmine. We can’t wait to add a few four-legged members to our family, as well.

I keep busy chasing my little ones around, taking trips with my family, working my own businesses as well as BEM, and I am also back in school obtaining my elementary education teaching certification.

Words cannot explain the gratitude I have for my own family, and my BEM family. I have experienced personal and professional growth beyond my wildest dreams and greatest expectations. I am truly blessed and thankful.

Having relocated from Southern California to Arizona in February of 2004, my husband Kyle and I were in store for a number of exciting life changes.  We sold our modest little townhome in Orange County and built a home in Chandler, we became first time parents in 2005, I left “Corporate America” to stay home with our daughter Malia, and I started up a home-based business.

When we replanted ourselves in Arizona, we were so pleased to have family support here but felt the absence of the relationships left behind in California.  When I left my “previous life” at the office after Malia was born, I didn’t have the camaraderie and support anymore that you benefit from in the workplace.  Outside of trying to bridge the financial gap, this was one of the main reasons for starting the home based business.

One day, I just happened to be referred to BizEMoms when promoting my new venture.  Little did I know that this exciting and very beneficial medium to promote my business would turn out to be so much more.  BizEMoms is not only providing me with a marketing platform for my wine consulting business but it is an unwavering supply of support in my business goals as well as personal life.  BizEMoms shared my excitement and saw me through my second pregnancy; they shared my excitement and joy with the arrival of our second daughter Makena; they share the excitement and pride when I or any other member has successes in their businesses; and has made its presence a fundamental cog in my life.  I am so thankful that I found my way to BizEMoms and I could not picture my life without it.  I have been extremely fortunate to have found such a nurturing environment and some lifelong friends.  I will never forget you!

Since meeting my new friends and becoming BizEMoms, I have grown to love this group like family. With being a busy mom, owning my own hair salon, having a home based business there is something I have come to realize:  I am not in this alone. I love my family and I have to work. With my fellow BEM we work together, encourage each other and help others succeed in their own endeavors.

I have one son, Tré and two step children, Kristin and Jax. My husband Tim and I love to have family time and travel with the kids. We are always doing something or going somewhere. I was blessed to be able to stay home with my son in his younger years and I am grateful for those years. Now, I have the same challenge as many others, I have to combine a work life as well as a home life. I keep busy with teenagers, the salon and working my home based business. BizEMoms has helped me grow my businesses and I truly am thankful for that.

I love my BizEMoms family that now has become an extension of my family and look forward to many years of continuous growth, laughter, sharing and encouragement. I am blessed!
