BizEMoms Helps
While reflecting on the year 2007, as well as thinking about the future of BizEMoms, we began to realize just how much we had gained and achieved, and how much we were capable of giving to others.
The idea for the BizEMoms Helps program has brought us much hope and excitement. We realize how much we have to share with others, and this is just a small way that we can give back to the community. Each month of the year 2008, BizEMoms will work with one charity or organization. The goal is to bring attention to these great causes and to find a way to lend our support. Some of these organizations have provided assistance to our members directly in some capacity, and others are just wonderful causes that our members have heard or read about.

March - Southwest Human Development
Southwest Human Development focuses on a broad range on developmental services for both young children and their families. BizEMoms will be collecting the following items for this organization: new, packaged diapers of all sizes, new books for children ages 5 and younger and new or used books for children ages 6 to 11 years. Please no religion themed books. You may drop these items off to Southwest Human Development directly, or BizEMoms will have a collection box throughout the month of March at Chicago Avenue Hair Studio, 393 W. Warner suite 111, Chandler 85225. The salon is open Tuesday through Saturday.
April – Arizona Foundation for Women
Walk to End Domestic Violence, April 26, 2008
BizEMoms will participate as a team in the 6th Annual 5K Walk to End Domestic Violence, which supports local domestic violence shelters. Please visit our team page at here to contribute to this great cause.
May- House of Refuge East
House of Refuge East is a social service program assisting homeless families while working on the root cause of each individual’s situation. BizEMoms will be conducting a toiletry drive on behalf of HR East. The items they are in most need of are: feminine hygiene products, deodorant, toothbrushes and lotions for both adults and babies.You may drop these items off to House of Refuge East directly, or BizEMoms will have a collection box through the month of May at Chicago Avenue Hair Studio, 393 W. Warner suite 111, Chandler 85225. The salon is open Tuesday through Saturday.
June- Finding Fido
Finding Fido is a dog rescue organization and shelter. They will help to search for your lost pet, as well as help care for rescued dogs, while finding safe, foster or permanent homes for these lovable animals. Please visit their website to donate directly to this great organization.
July- Save the Family
Save the Family helps children in homeless families by treating the whole family with programs to break the negative cycles of poverty, abuse, and homelessness. In July BizEMoms will be participating in a group project, Welcome Home. We will be helping to clean and paint a home in preparation for transition to a new family.Visit the website to learn how you can help by volunteering or donating.
August- Singleton Moms
Singleton Moms provides support and assistance to moms undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatment for cancer. Singleton Moms has asked for financial assistance, which will provide them with the best way to help the moms in this program. October- Arizona Down Syndrome Network
The Arizona Down Syndrome Network helps to educate families and the community about Down Syndrome and the resources available to provide a better quality of life. October is Down Syndrome awareness month, and BizEMoms will help this organization by participating in the Buddy Walk, as well as supplying water to the walk participants. In conjunction with BizEMoms, Arizona Down Syndrome Network will be raffling off a free cruise at the East Valley Bridal Affair
November- Autism Speaks
Walk Now for Autism
The goals for Autism Speaks are to fund and promote research, raise public awareness, and to bring hope to all who are affected by Autism. December- Christmas Family
In December, BizEMoms will adopt a Christmas family to provide gifts and blessings of the season. More information to follow about how your family can help others during this spirited season.
