The biggest joys of my life have been becoming a wife and a mother. Being a mom to an energetic three year old boy and a newborn baby girl sure poses it challenges! But, one thing I am confident about is that I can help my family should they ever need CPR. My husband is certified as well, which is something I definitely recommend to both parents.

The most important thing with CPR is to act fast! Doing something is better than doing nothing, and can make the difference in saving someone’s life. I began teaching CPR for the MOM’s program at a local hospital while I was a student at the U of A. I taught new and expectant parents and grandparents, as well as parents whose children were currently patients in the hospital’s neonatal and pediatric intensive care units. I really enjoyed it, and kept my certification up after moving to Phoenix by aligning with Compassionate Care CPR of Arizona, an American Heart Association onsite training center based here in the valley. In 2005, I added my First Aid Instructor’s certification. I have been teaching CPR for seven years now, and love interacting with healthcare professionals, new and experienced parents and many others! I offer all levels of instruction, with flexible scheduling. Typically, I hold classes during the week in the evenings, and on the weekends in the mornings, however can work with you to determine a class time that will work best. I teach single or group classes, and you will receive your AHA certification card the day of class.
